Original Star Wars Props

BigBadDaddyVader

Here are my original pieces from one of the most influential movies in cinematic history STAR WARS:EPISODE IV:A NEW HOPE.
Not much more can really  be said about ANH.A seismic and life-changing event for me.A long time ago in a galaxy far,far away........

SCREEN-USED TIE FIGHTER COCKPIT CANOPY

This is a fantastic addition to my miniatures collection. This is a screen-used cockpit canopy from a pyro TIE Fighter used and exploded over the Death Star during the Rebel Assault. This makes an awesome set along with my X-Wing pieces as they both represent the two most arguably iconic ships in not only Star Wars but science fiction in general. The TIEs with their howling screeching engines when they attack were simply amazing ships.TIE Fighter pieces from any of the films, and pyro model fragments, are so incredibly rare that this was a real find.Along with the model maker's blueprint for the TIE filming miniatures this makes for a long sought after addition to my collection.
"We'll have to destroy them ship to ship."

SCREEN-USED EXPLODED PYRO X-WING SECTIONS

Original screen-used sections from an exploded X-Wing during the Death Star Assault. They consist of a complete wing laser cannon and a rear component engine turbine.X-Wing sections are very rare and hard to come by so I am delighted to have these in my collection. There are very few  complete S-Foil laser cannons in  private collections as the laser tips usually are broken off and get lost.A truly great set from one of the most unforgettable scenes in film.

NEW ADDITION!!!!!!!

SCREEN-USED PYRO X-WING WING SECTION

As a fantastic addition to my other miniature pieces from A New Hope this is an exterior wing section from a pyro X-Wing also exploded over the Death Star. This particular section is from the tip of the wing and would have held and housed the S-Foil laser cannon which I also have an example of as you can see.I just love miniature pieces from the films as it is really for the most part a dead art in film-making now and a reminder of how such a classic film was made.I am thrilled to add this to my selection of pieces from not only my favourite Star Wars movie but my favourite movie of all time.
"Stay on target!"

SCREENUSED DEATH STAR SURFACE SECTION

This is a small 3"x3" section of the ANH death star surface. This was used for medium altitude shots.Pictured above you can see an example of this style of tile used (as there were many multiples of each tile used used and made) and also the shooting of a death star sequence. That's no moon.........

PRODUCTION-MADE CHEWBACCA TEETH-FULL JAW SET

A full and complete jaw of production-made Chewbacca teeth. To my knowledge only four full sets were created for the walking carpet for ANH and although not a screen-used set these are still a great piece.Pictured is creature effects genius Stuart Freeborn working with the Chewbacca masks and teeth. It should also be noted that that wookiee had an enormous mouth!

ORIGINAL SCREEN-USED LARS HOMESTEAD DOME SECTION

This is a piece of the domed roof from the entrance to the Lars homestead used on location in Tunisia. The scenes with Luke and Owen and Beru and particularly Luke gazing into the binary sunset are among the most iconic in cinema history so to have something used in these memorable scenes is a great for such a Luke fan as myself.

This was recovered from Tunisia during a trip in 1999 by well-known and respected collector Chris Georgoulias along with some other pieces and was a piece of a larger section that needed to be cut for transport and has finally found it's way into my collection and is a piece that I have wanted for some time.

"If there's a bright center to the galaxy you're on the planet that it's farthest from."

NEW ADDITION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

SCREEN-USED KRAYT DRAGON BONE

This is a large section of the Krayt Dragon skeleton seen during Threepio's trek across the Dune Sea after their crash on Tatooine. This was recovered from La Grande Dune in Tunisia where the skeleton was left after filming. It has survived remarkably well considering it was lying around in the desert for the best part of thrity years!
"I suppose we're made to suffer. It's our lot in life."

PRODUCTION-USED SFX TIE FIGHTER MODEL MAKER'S BLUEPRINT

A blueprint for the SFX TIE fighter model miniatures used in the film.Used by model-maker's to construct the TIE filming miniatures. The top right portion of this blueprint can be seen in a photograph of the ILM workshop on Page 79 of  J.W.Rinzler's "The Making Of Star Wars" book.Fantastic production item.

PRODUCTION-USED THIRD DRAFT SCRIPT- "THE STAR WARS"

Some very interesting changes and fascinating to see a stage in the development of the characters and scenes that formed the pre-production of this most iconic of films. One of the best production items I have and a great piece to have.

PRODUCTION-USED REVISED FOURTH DRAFT SCRIPT

Another stage in the development of the story of our heroes. This is a production-used revised fourth draft script.Great to pair this with my third draft to see the continuing changes first hand and,as with my third draft, this script also bears a crew copy number.
